Mr.Eyasu Tilahun was born at a place called Kidigisa and he has grown up in kalisha village , Hadiya zone, south Ethiopia. He attended his elementary school at Ambicho Gode Primary School, High school and Preparatory school at Wachemo Comprehensive Secondary school. He has got Bachelor of Education and MA degree in English.

He is one of the editors of books written by Dr. K.Sekhar. He worked for six years as a lecturer at Mizan-Tepi University in the department of English Language and Literature. At present, he is D/Director of Institute of Indigenous Knowledge Studies and lecturer in department of Hadiyya Language and Literature, Wachemo University.
