In Halaba language, there are no interrogative words to make interrogative statements. However, intonation in spoken language and punctuation mark “?” in written language indicate interrogative form. The verb form varies with respective person, number, and gender. As well, verb form remains same both in the affirmative and interrogative forms. The verb form ends as mentioned in the below table. If the subject is "I", the verb form ends with ''-oomi?" (rosishshoomi/ laxyoomi?) and (went-marroomi?). (Halaba)

If the subject is "we", the verb form ends with ''-oomi/-noomi?" (rosinsoomi/laxnoomi?). If the verb fom ends with “-oomi” (taught-rosinsoomi), the the letter “n” comes before the “-oomi” (Halaba)

If the subject is "You(m)", the verb form ends with ''-i?/-ti?" (tuaght-rossi?/ watched-laxi?) and (went-marti?). (Halaba)

If the subject is "You(f)", the verb form ends with ''-i?/-ti?" (tuaght-rossi?/ watched-laxi?) and (went-marti?). (Halaba)

If the subject is "She", the verb form ends with "-ooxu?/-tooxu?" (taught-rossooxu?/ watched-laxooxu?) and (went-martooxu?). (Halaba)

If the subject is "You(pl)", the verb form ends with ''-eeni?/-teeni?" (taught-rosseeni?/ watched-laxeeni?) and (went-marteeni?.) (Halaba)

If the subject is "He", the verb form ends with ''-o?" (roshsho?/laxyo?) and (went-marro) (Halaba)

If the subject is "They", the verb form ends with "-ooxu?/-tooxu?" (taught-rossooxu?/ watched-laxooxu?) and (went-martooxu?). (Halaba)
